| Melody has enjoyed residing in the Columbus, Ohio area all her life. Brought up in an agnostic environment, Melody was not taught to follow any particular religious views. As a child and adolescent, Melody experienced a vast amount of paranormal and psychic activity, but had no context in which to express what she was experiencing. This was the beginning of what would become a lifetime quest for spiritual knowledge and understanding. In 1983, Melody had what can be called an awakening, or a conversion experience, where her spirit and soul was forever transformed into an ongoing love and zeal for union with the Creator. Melody is married to Charlie Jenkins (another one of our practitioners), has 2 step-sons, and is a full time caregiver for her Father. Melody attended the Ohio State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Sociology. She also holds both a Bachelor and a Master Degree from the University of Sedona & Metaphysics. Still attending the University of Sedona & Metaphysics, Melody is currently working on her Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. specializing in Pastoral Counseling Psychology, Metaphysical Parapsychology, Mystical Research and Comparative Religion. Melody is a Licensed and Ordained Minister and, along with her family, holds Spiritual Home Gatherings, drawing people from backgrounds as diverse as Christian, Wiccan, Buddhist, and Spiritualist. As a Claircognizant, Melody has been gifted as an Intuitive Seer & Healer, and is proficient in reading Runes and Runic Tarot. Melody is an Advanced Reiki Practitioner and an Animal Reiki Practitioner, receiving her Reiki Training at The Reiki Center in Columbus, Ohio. Melody is also a certified Tuning Fork Practitioner, receiving her SomaEnergetics training through The Reiki Center. Melody has participated in a variety of volunteer and staff positions including outreaches to Appalachia, New York City, & Chicago, Coffee House Ministry, Home Church Pastor, & Church Planter. With more than 30 years of spiritual service & education, Melody has personally prayed with thousands of people and participated in hundreds of house blessings, counseling sessions, exorcisms, teachings, and training exercises. Melody enjoys reading & studying the Christian Mystics, the Sufi Mystics, the Old & New Testament, the Pseudepigrapha, the Apocrypha, the Quran and Other Sacred Texts. She is fascinated by Ley Lines, Energy Vortexes, The Paranormal, Crop Circles, and Astrology. Melody also enjoys BeadWork, Drum Circles, Auras & Chakras, writing in her Journal, going to festivals with her husband, and playing with her 2 Bulldogs (Ernie & Nieda), her Parrot (Buster), and her Bunny (Murphy). |
